Vishakha Mehrangarh Foundation

We are a team of committed medical professionals, and social activists aiming towards bringing well beings for most marginalised groups with social justice and equity. Our experiences of many years have led to foundation of this trust. Vishakha Mehrangarh Foundation is a registered trust under Indian trust act, and is governed and advised by well known academicians, IAS, IFS and Ex MP (Rajya Sabha). The foundation was established in 2009, and has been actively working in the Jodhpur district and continuously expanding its base in to other parts of rural and urban Rajasthan on the issue of health, education, employment and Dalit human rights.

We have been conducting various health Rights activities, Youth motivation camps, Education awareness programmes, seminars and public meetings on various state and national level issues.

We envisage a healthy and educated society where every individual will be socially and economically independent to generate their own resources or use local resources which will further lead to a sustainable development based on social justice and dignity.

To partner with community based mentors, health educators, leaders, academicians, professionals and researchers to build an empowered society based on social justice and equity

	“Health is Human Right” must be promoted and various methods and practices to be adopted for bridging the gap between government health schemes and marginalised sections of the community
	To provide health education/awareness among mine workers, slum dwellers and other marginalized community on TB, AIDS, mental health and other communicable diseases
	To provide vocational education to educated unemployed youth for their better access to employment and livelihood
	To work towards elimination of social evils like child marriage, dowry, and caste based discrimination, and other superstitions among marginalized community
